Meet the Team
The following men were all extremely important to the settling and the security of the great colony of Connecticut:
- John Winthrop Jr. was the first governor of Connecticut and the founder of New Haven. He also obtained the royal charter of 1662 from King Charles II.
- Reverend Thomas Hooker and Reverend Samuel Stone were the men who brought 100 of their followers to settle Hartford.
- Captain John Mason was responsible for the victory over the enemy in the war against the evil Pequot.
